Greg Gross former MLB Player and current AAA Hitting Coach with the Phillies Organization will hold a 2 day Hitting Clinic Feb. 6 & 7 at Carmen Fusco Pro Baseball/Softball Academy. Greg Gross was a: - 1970 Graduate of Redland High School - Etters , Pa. - 4th round selection by Houston Astros in the 1970 MLB Draft. - Played 17 years in the MLB – Houston, Chicago & Philadelphia - Member of the 1980 World Series Champion Phillies and the 1983 National League Champions. Lifetime Batting Avg. 287 / OBP .372 /Just 250 strikeouts over 3745 at bats.Greg began his coaching career with the Colorado Rockies Organization from 1995 – 2000 as the hitting coach and hitting coordinator. Also he worked as the Phillies bench coach as well as the hitting instructor from 2000 to 2004.Currently Greg is the AAA hitting coach for the Philadelphia Phillies.
The camp will be broke into two age groups: ages 9 – 13 will run from 9:00am to 11:30am both days. Ages 14 and older will run 12:00pm to 2:30pm also both days. This is a two day camp with a cost of $80 per player for both days. It is advised that you preregister as there is limited space.
